I create original and one-of-a-kind
jewelry designs with the intention of showing the beauty in dichotomy and the
surprise of the unexpected. Aside from visual aesthetics, I'm very aware of
and work with the balance, movement, comfort, and sometimes even the sound of
each piece. I have no niche to my designs (although a lot of people
think they can "spot" my designs as recognizably Laura Bracken)
because I hate treading over familiar ground… so I create, then move on,
trying new mediums as well as new techniques. |

The tumultuous past seven years of my
life have shown me something I feel is very important, which is the severe
truth behind the statement: No Man Is an So what's the Woman Resource all
about? Hm…
okay, first a disclaimer: I am a tweaker. I rarely leave well-enough alone because
life is mutable and I see change as important and most often as an
improvement. So please be forgiving of
the fact that you may come in here and see changes… constantly… it's just the
way I am. My intention for starting this site is
to serve as a "home base" if you will of resources (all kinds of
resources) for women to come and get what they need. |
